In 1881, the "Denning's Point Brick Co" marked earlier bricks as "DPBCo." until their name was changed to "Denning's Point Brick Works"; the brand marking then became "DPBW."  Bricks produced at Denning's Point were used to construct the Rockefeller Center and the Empire State Building.
