This design pays homage to the pattern that covered the Beacon Dummy Light base until 2023. Lighting the intersection of Main Street and E Main St, the Beacon dummy light was originally painted with a striking diamond pattern. Reflective diamonds were gradually added to enhance visibility for tourists at night. With safety in mind and design disregarded, the base was repainted a solid yellow in 2023; bidding farewell to a familiar sight cherished by those journeying along E Main St.
